Modern Daybreak is a collective of like minded musicians seeking love, peace, and understanding. Our music is the expression of years of hard work, heartbreak, and hope, coalescing in a project unlike any we’ve been a part of before. We come from all different walks of life, working together to create music without limits, boundaries, or  set genres. Justin and Matt have been Modern Daybreak since 2017, and have experienced a number of setbacks and small victories. After awkwardly attempting to be a duo, our renaissance started with the addition of Mike and Arthur in the summer of 2023. They have given our music new life. We released our first EP Music For Love during that same summer. This release, coupled with great local show opportunities, has given us the momentum that we lost in 2020. Modern Daybreak has a plan to release some singles late 2023 and start working on fresh, new music to build our first full-length album together. If we needed to name some genre influences, here they are: rock and roll, 90’s alternative, folk, soul, singer-songwriter, and pop rock.
